Cap and Trade is one of the most pro-business initiatives around.
It promotes diversification of revenue for energy companies, broadens the scope of potential customers and markets, and encourages research and development on sustainable non-carbon based power sources.
Why do you think BP would be against it? No pro-business person is against it.
Where are you getting your info on it? Are you a communist who doesn't know the difference between "their" and "there"?

wtf? I'll bet you and your partner thought Gasland was the greatest film the two of you have ever seen, also.
Pro-business people are for this? Not the people currently in business - only the ones trying to start a business that they hope will be funded by revenue generated from the tax that is cap and trade.
Grow up and work in the real world for a while, pay taxes for a while, and things will start clearing up for you a bit.
