I'm thinking Reggie will have a stellar season:

1. Word is he's looking good in camp. Probably his best ever.

2. His contract is up this year. He will have to prove himself as a playmaker for the BIG contract.

3. Must prove he's still deserves the Heismann.

Look out NFL here comes the second coming of Bush!

I love Reggie, I really do, but it'd REALLY be nice if he would have a real break-out year this year. We've seen flashes of brilliance; now we need to see consistancy punctuated by shock & awe for 19 games.

Ive never been a fan of Reggie but hell every once in awhile he does something that makes me think he's on the verge of breaking out. I hope your right and he has a huge season

I'm all for Reggie turning into Barry Sanders II.

But

on 1... camp? not even training camp but only OTAs?? There have been hall of fame OTAers that didn't make it to the regular season.

on 2... His contract is not up. He is due $11.8 million next year. That's not tenable so it is a technicality. In a real sense his performance will still affect what his market value will be whether a renegotiated one in NOLA or a new one somewhere else.

on 3... I see no correlation at all.

I'd rather a fresh new coming rather than a second coming of him too. I'm a big Reggie fan but this reminds me of stock market irrational exuberance.

I love what he's doing offensively, but he has to get his PR back up to par.
