Where did all this new TV money for the Big 12 come from?

Their revenue somehow tripled in this new deal even though the conference is weaker. Fuzzy math IMO.

Even Beebe admits no deals are done. This "information" allowed the Horns to come back to the Big 12 and save face. Otherwise, it looks like A&M called the shots.

There seems to be about $30M to $40M a year that is materializing out of thin air. The networks are reporting that a group of individuals (NCAA administrators, people in other conferences, and businessmen) that were generally opposed to the realignment stepped in to make this deal work. It looks like the PAC-16 deal was screwed because TAMU and OU were going to go SEC. In that case UT probably would have gone by themselves to the BIG-10. In this scenario, OSU would have been screwed. So I'm betting T. Boone Pickens is supply the extra cash to make it work.
