Hogs just took a commitment from Wiley. Wondering if you guys could help me out with some background info? I know he's from West Monroe, and he was supposed to go to Bama out of High School, I think.

Was he supposed to walk on at Bama? He was never committed to them from what I see and had no offers nor was rated according to rivals.

Don't think so. I don't remember him being that much of a prospect out of high school. He went juco for a reason and it helped his development.

According to Wiley, he had an offer from Bama...I don't recall that though. Coming out of HS, I didn't think he was SEC caliber, but looks like he's put in the hard work and has become an outstanding CB. Best of luck to him.

well I just looked it up and maybe he didn't say he got offered by Bama but he did say he was going to Bama but didn't qualify

Also went to Arizona Western CC. Played with JUCO DT Jessie Williams, who has a pretty crazy offer list. LSU was looking at both. Wiley came in a couple of weekends ago. I think he was a big Bama/LSU guy before he went to JUCO. Doesn't have a LSU offer.

I agree, proof of that was Armand Williams last year. You guys are awesome at keeping in-state talent in-state, and we know it.

Wiley was a stud at WM. One of the best DB's ever. Problem for his was..He could barely read. Im not even joking about this. Its good to see he took care of business in JUCO.
