The political pressure is just too great. I think this is Texas's way of putting A&M on the chopping block. If A&M moves to the SEC, boom we are the bad guys.

Texas isn't backing off of anything... anyone who believes that is not using common sense.

Texas wants nothing to do with the Big 12. It's all posturing.

Too bad.

Maybe they are coming to the SEC.

I was hoping to get this resolved soon.
I actually got on just now, hoping to see something definitive about the Okies and aTM coming to the SEC WEST.

Honestly who cares?

If Texas calls foul no one will care- A&M did what was the best for themselves. Why do they have to answer to Texas?

They are posturing through words, not actions. Texas is not and will not back off of the PAC 16 deal.

The Big 12 is not going to survive no matter what info Dodds, Chip, Ketch or any media is putting out there.

I've been expecting them to back off. Even in the PAC 16 they won't be the biggest fish in the pond. They realize that the only way to stay the bully on the block Is to keep big 12.
Big 12 will pick up TCU and someone else and go back to the way it was.

Screw Texas.....they just lost to TCU in the SR, and they're on the verge of losing to A&M and the SEC. Why worry what Texas is trying to make A&M look like? Do you think Nebraska and Colorado are worried that UT might make them look like?

what is the common factor in all this black balling? Looks like Texass to me....

one more thing....they wont be playing you once you move to the SEC...and IF thats the case, why do you worry about what a school that isnt playing you says? you can be the ones to tell them....Bevo, you're not even in this conversation...frick em

Good. I hope aTm goes to the SEC and Texas comes to the Big10.
All end up happy.

ags01,

The cows only option left is to craft a Big 10+2 proposal and make us decline and go to the SEC. That way they are the good guys, get their own network, and blame A&M for the demise of the BIG 10+2.

You'll see us refute everything publicly here on out and be the last to formally show our hand.

Staying true to my roots...

I did enjoy my time in CBus though. Half of my money went to High Street and the Brazenhead.

I personally think UT is pushing for their own revenue stream via their own network or something similar. Something that will allow games not shown elsewhere to be broadcast for pay by them. I don;t think The B10 or SEC would go for it.

Texas started this crap by raiding the coffer of the Big XII. So after being bent over from a kick in the nuts by Nebraska, A&M comes along and puts a Corps of Cadets EEE up that Longhorn arse.

If the Aggies have an SEC invitation then I highly recommend you take it because it is the first, and maybe last, chance you will ever have to move from their shadow.

Texas is the bad guys and everyone knows it. If they get an SEC invitation then Mike Slive should be ridden out of town on a rail. I don't want those tea sipping fruit cakes anywhere near the SEC.
