TX will become the new "best team west of the Mississippi that nobody knows anything about". How many times did anyone watch USC on TV last year or any previous year? TX games will now have to fit the West Coast time slots. A&M will come out of their shadow quickly after joining the SEC.

Wrong.

TAMU will benefit, but UT will still be very, very relevant.

How many USC game have you watched the last 5 years ? If it wasn't for ND and the Rose Bowl you would not see them. Most people are asleep or driving home from a night game when they play.

I watch almost 3/4 of their games. They're on so late, it's the only thing left to watch. Most of the time hoping that they lose.

I thought that was the BIG 10 time slot.

I'm not sure who's specifically supposed to be slotted there. But more often than not, it was a USC, Texas or Big 10 game - most of which were televised nationally.

In 40 odd years could count it on one hand. Watched a quarter last year, laughed aloud, then turned off set.

I watch a lot of games on TV, from morning to after midnight. I remember watching USC play Ohio St, OR St and Stanford. Saw highlights of the Cal game. TX will still be relevent, just most people east of the MS, will only see highlights from SportCenter.

my god people. you do realize that we would only play ONE GAME ON THE WEST COAST A YEAR RIGHT? I have a feeling they will also do their best to make sure that ONE game is an early game...
