I think they would have to show some real commitment to the athletic program. Starting with a new stadium.

Not gonna happen though.

This would hurt LSU in getting to cherry pick LA prospects. WE would get most of them but other kids would see a chance to start from day 1 for an SEC school. Tulane has the potential to be good, so I say keep them hidden as long as possible. I like getting the New Orleans talent.

They could start showing that committment by NOT talking about disbanding the football team every 5-10 years or so........that cannot help.

If Tulane builds a new stadium it wouldn't be up to a capacity for the SEC standards, (they don't have the money or the space on campus. IF by some quirk of universal upheaval it were back in the SEC it would be operating in the Dome.

With a sweetheart deal in the Dome and the millions the SEC contributes to each school Tulane could thrive in the SEC in a parasitic relationship.
