Aggie fans really want to be in the SEC. I think they would be a good fit in the West hopefully it happens.

Edit: Not to mention I can make the road trip to College Station every time the tigers play here very easily

They just competed in the Coral Gables Regional, taking Miami to the final game last Monday before losing. They're respectable.

I hope they screw over UT. Besides they don't fit in with Pac - 10.

Baseball program is SOLID. They have a stadium getting a $20m facelift - and it wasn't bad before. The attendance at games is top 10 in the country, and they are perennial regional participants. They took Miami to the final game of a Miami hosted regional this year. I'd say aTm is at least a better program than half - if not more - teams in the SEC. fwiw.

A couple of our greatest moments in baseball have come against the Aggies.

In 1989, they were No. 1 with a 58-5 record and looking like the favorites to win the CWS. This was back when there were eight regionals and the eight winners went straight to the CWS. We traveled to College Station and came out of the loser's bracket to beat them twice on the final day to get to Omaha for the third time in four years. Ben McDonald came out to close the final game in the 9th inning and I believe he struck two or three out to finish it. Great moment, although that may have been the year that Ben gave up one of the most memorable home runs in CWS history to Stanford in an elimination game.

Then, in 1993, we played them in, I believe, our second game in Omaha. They were No. 1 that year too, I think. We rallied from a run down to beat them by 5 in the 8th or 9th. We eventually went on to win our second title in three years in that CWS.

From TexAgs:

SEC. CBS and ESPN at 2 or 6:45
Pac-10 FSN at 9pm
Big 10 espn at 11:30 or whenever gameday ends.
SEC, SEC, SEC!

The poll looks like most Aggies are supporting the move to the SEC.
