Chances of UT joining SEC?

Sorry if this has already been posted; I haven't been following this board. What are the chances that Texas will join the SEC? My husband is a Longhorn.... It's bad enough I didn't marry a guy from LSU, but I certainly never thought I'd be the wife of a conference rival. Please post any info you have. Hopefully, somehow, divorce can be avoided. Thanks.

I think the only way the SEC gets UT is if OU and A&M join the conference.

Nobody knows what is gonna happen but what Texas wanted is for all the big 12 south teams to follow them to the pac 10 but it looks like A&M is really having a tough time deciding if they wanna split with Texas and join the SEC or still be dominated by UT in the pac 10. F-ing Nebraska; I've been up in arms all morning. Big 12 should just pull in another texas team (TCU imo) and call it a day.

exactly but over here in Texas its sorta like a power struggle between older fans and younger fans. Older A&M fans don't want to break rivalries but the younger generation doesn't want to be UT's little brother anymore

UT will not be joining the SEC...too many big dogs in the SEC for Texas...
