OK let's start this off by saying this topic was pondered by me and a friend and i wanted to get some other fans opinion cause it sounded viable!
The Pac 1 for years has been fighting to keep out a playoff system and keep its precious Rose Bowl. Well now it seems very coincidental that the Pac 1(put 1 for a reason not a typo) will expand out to 12 14 or 16 teams now that their main attraction cannot play in a BG for 2 years. The Pac 1 wanted to do it on their terms and Neb/Colorado gave them all that opportunity! I live in S La and watch CFB every Sat. Well the only Pac1 we can watch is on 90% OF THE TIME AT 9pm Or later. What do theses new teams mean might you ask. More prime time games for the west coast to tap into if they add this many Central Time teams! Could you see at 1:30 PM Texas vs UCLA. It used to be Texas at Neb or Okla vying for our SEC time slot now Pac1 will slowly ooze its way into the door!! What are your thoughts just convo me and a friend had over a couple of beers!!

No. They have been thinking about this for about a year. At the least.

Just a perspective we had that the Pac-1 was trying to get more mainstream and really wanted to have a playoff just wanted their terms and the best opportunity!
