Thoughts on Clemson

Personally, being a SC fan I'd hate it. But it seems like they would be a good fit. Other than the fact that it wouldn't bring anything new in regards to a TV market.

They have tradition, a nice stadium, fan support.
Hell the only reason I don't want Clemson in the SEC is South Carolina would lose their recruiting edge in regards to "We play in the SEC".
ETA: Not to mention the old UGA-Clemson rivalry would be renewed.

I would like it. It seems as though they have traditions and fan support that mirrors the SEC moreso than the ACC.

the SEC already has 1 Death Valley and 2 Tiger teams, dont need to add to those

They seem the most logical of all the proposed teams. I know the FL schools are known more for their football, but Clemson seems more SECesque to me. Florida, as a state, just doesn't scream southeast to me. Too many displaced New Englanders.

The SEC doesn't need Clemson. The SEC doesn't need an imitation Death Valley. The SEC doesn't need another "Tigers" team.

Absolutely.
Every tv pundit repeats this, its been posted a hundred times yet people here don't get it.
Its about expanding geographic markets and increasing revenue. Clemson, FSU, GT and Miami would do little to help.
