the Big 10 will do the same by taking Rutgers, WVU, Maryland, Pitt or some combination of them. This would essentially kill the Big East. I can see the SEC expanding by taking VT, Miami, FSU, and UNC or Clemson, therefore killing the ACC. we would then be left with a loose configuration of teams who will be forced to join together without making a whole lot of geographic sense.
Rutgers and Syracuse at the most would be taken by the big 10. WVU not a chance b/c they are not an AAU school.
VT and UNC are going no were. I don't know what makes people think VT could go to the SEC they are tied to UVA at the hip b/c the shite they pulled to get in the ACC

They are both putting a lot of effort into improving not only their football programs, but their whole athletic department. If they see better opportunities with another conference, they will go. Look at Baylor. It took legislative action to get them into the Big 12, but now they are probably going to be left out of the Pac 16 if that happens. Don't think that the other Texas schools won't make the best decision for them just to save Baylor. The same can happen to UVA. They bring almost nothing to the table and can be left behind very easily.
