Same for Fatburger. A Baby Fat or Fat w/cheese, with Maui shake and Fat Fries or Rings, is in the $9 to $12 range, depending on the locality. And their King Fat, 2X, or 3X cost that much ala carte.
I love Fatburger, so do some Shreveopolis friends of mine, we eat them almost daily, when at the Stations properties in Vegas each summer.
But, there is a reason that Fatburger has came and went from Shreveport and Nawlins, in recent years. Now, whether they were corporate or franchisee, and/or well-scouted locations, I'm not too familiar with all that. I'd have to guess their price range, may have been a large factor in their quick demise in the La market?
That's why Five Guys will be in Towne Center and/or near LSU/Highland/Perkins. Five Guys has a great hot dog, and fab free peanuts, which will aid them, in popularity.
In some ways, I don't see what all the fuss is about with 5G, Fat, In-N-Out combo prices, when even the McD, BK, Jack, etc..combos are clocking in at nearly $6, for totally craptastic burgers. And 5G or Fat Fries, coupled with their larger and/or dressed burgers, is a meal that can be split between two people easily.

BB came and went too, circa 1986 to 1988 on Fla Blvd at Airline. Another case of an well-intentioned, but not well-capitalized franchisee, and he chose the wrong location to set up shop, a corridor that was on the slide even then(Casa Garcia and Chi-Chi's nearby soon gone, Putt-Putt,etc..)after considering the more expensive LSU areas, but deciding against the higher leases.
