Well, what'd you come up with? I'll get Mainieri to change his mind if necessary

Well, when I show him the printed out version of my thread making a case for each guy, he's going to be really impressed

I like the extra rest for AR1... plus seems like AR2s achilles heal all yr has been the long ball, which Irvine doesn't do

plus seeing Ranaudo/Cole Saturday night will be epic (god willing)

That thread was riddled with logical points and discussion. I didn't think threads like that were allowed on the rant

I think it's as simple as ranaudo could use an extra day, ross has been pitching lights out, and he's a good matchup

I like it

I honestly thought I would get the obligatory "Its a no brainer you have to pitch so and so" at least 18 times, but surprisingly I didn't

Honkus, like all the rantards last year screaming for AR to pitch in game 2 of the championship series. He put Ross in there and Ranaudo pitched in game 3. Jungmann silenced the bats, so I don't see why you waste Ranaudo on that pitching performance. I trust cpm as well.

This just begs the question, was brought up a few times yesterday... If Ross doesnt get it done & we find ourself in the losers bracket vs Kent State, does PM have the stones to run Bradshaw or Joey B out there, or does he throw Ranaudo? I guess alsup is an option too, but I think we'd need him and AR1 to climb out of the losers bracket. I say give the ball to Bradshaw vs Kent St n an elimination game.
