Please tell me that we're not opening against UCLA

the goal for this regional, is to avoid Gerrit Cole at all costs. This kid is absolutely disgusting. I'd assume he'd throw there first game and I really hope it's not against us.

we open w/ Irvine, but do u really think UCLA is gonna waste Cole on lowly Kent State?

MUST start Ranaudo against Irvine's ace. I like Alsup against UCLA personally, but wouldn't be mad if he started the championship game.

you never know. I've seen a lot of teams throw their ace game 1 no matter what. They know that if they just win that first game they're in the driver's seat.
One thing I do like though is that LSU has a pretty damn good track record for destroying future stud draft picks. Especially in the early 2000s...would be nice for that to continue here.

i don't know. Tort Tiger swore up and down that Cushing never touched juice so I'm pretty sure he knows more about baseball than pro baseball players.
