Wow....what a bunch of fakes these officials are turning out to be, where in the hell are the dredges? I thought the bluster they were throwing out last week was that they were all ready to go to jail if the feds wanted them to stop dredging.
These folks need to put their money where their mouth is, if they're that unsatisfied with what's going on, go ahead and do it better yourself. It would earn them a helluva lot more political capital than sitting on their hands making idle threats.

It has always been my understanding the the Corp of Engineers has the dredges.

They may have more, but I know there was some talk about Plaquemines parish going out and renting a dredge on their own accord.
