I know that there are probably better places to gather info on the subject, but I thought I would give it a shot since the majority of you are in the Gulf and my have a direct lead to help me out, but...
Anyone know of a company/contractor that I could contact to help with the cleanup process? Again, I don't mean to sound stupid or incapable of googling it, but most of my searches turn up news articles and nothing of real significance in terms of employment or volunteer work. All I want is a company name or a phone number, which I'm sure many of you are seeing daily on various forms of media output.

If you don't know the names of the contractors who are working on this, sounds like they would have no reason to hire you.
If you knew something about oil cleanup, you'd know the players.
Yeah, craigslist. That's where the best companies get their people. There's also a Nigerian student would would like to go to college and would like for you to send him money.

No, I mean US Enviromental Services. (USES). They had the contract to clean up the Murphy Oil spill after Katrina. Along with Clean Harbors.
