Does that get us a regional?
That record puts us as SEC tournament champions without losing a game. I really like our chances if we can get past Florida.

How will we go 4-0 in Hoover? We've lost 14 of the last 18 and only 1 of those 4 wins is worth mentioning.
Our RPI is 30. We just need to worry about winning a game to even get into the tournament.

I think so...that is based on tradition and facilities alone, though....
even a decent showing in Hoover would be nothing short of a miraculous turnaround, IMO....

Where is all this optimism coming from? Yes, I'm excited about the prospect that AR may finally be coming around. However, LSU was 2-2 last week against mediocre competition. When the pitching comes around, it seems as if the bats go in hiding (there are obviously exceptions).

Ross would be the next pitcher and Arkansas and Vandy are beatable. Then we have a day off and whoever we play next, their pitching should be depleted. That is my reasoning.

Geez, one game at a time- you have to be realistic due to our pitching staff, with Alsup getting hurt yesterday that could hurt us even more this week, hopefully he can be ready if we make it to the weekend. Got to take this tourney one game at a time

I think so. We talked about this at the box and the problem that LSU has with getting a regional is that you have South Carolina, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss and Arkansas who are in the same conference and may have a better argument to host. If they win the tourney, I think they get the 4th host spot for the SEC after Florida, Auburn and South Carolina. They would have a better record than Ole Miss at that point, but would be neck and neck with Arkansas.
