Mickey Johnson....

So apparently Mickey Johnson has been trying to get other committed LSU players to visit other schools. My buddy has also said his facebook status has been questionable at best. (I know....he should not be friends with him)
BUT my buddy said there are quite a few people talking up LSU on facebook wall. Someone apparently commented that Alabama was on top...to which Mickey Johnson replied "no comment"....
Are we not recruiting this guy hard enough? Is he playing games? What's the deal? Apparently he brags constantly about receiving offers from schools and how coaches come by his school constantly to see him.
You have a kid like La'El Collins instate who is recruiting for LSU at every opportunity...and then you have a guy who is playing the recruiting game. Do we lose him out of state?

Mickey has rarely ever shown interest in LSU when I talk to him. Its always about other school especially bama. Not sure what the deal is with him

Just seems that a kid from 30 minutes away from tiger stadium would have more interest. Instead, he is encouraging our commits to visit schools like bama with him.

I hope you are right! I did not get to see the comment. LSU could really use this kid. Him and Freak at DT is a hell of a class

he needs to come out and say he isn't interested in us if he already has his mind made up and wants to recruit for other teams

Mickey is good but so is chuck hunter, tim jernigan, james maiden, etc.... hes just opening the door for other recruits.

True, but what sucks is, these guys that actually WANT to be tigers have to what around for this guy to play his games, not even interested with LSU

this..but it wouldnt be a huge loss imo because we have about 4 or 5 bcs level dt's in the state in hunter,the kid from rayville,hodge from neville and the 2 we already have committed. i kno thomas says we're recruiting him as an end but i think he'll end up at tackle eventually
