What is a good wine to drink with crawfish etouffee?

quote:+1. Would also recommend any high acid, slightly off dry wine from Germany, Austria, or Alsace (reisling, pinot gris, gewurtz, etc). These wines all pair well with spicy foods. I drink them with Asian foods and they generally pair well with Cajun food too.

If you find Reisling to be too sweet, try a Marlborough, NZ Sauvignon Blanc like Kim Crawford or Dashwood.
