Anyone know where to purchase a live sack of crawfish in the Destin or Ft. Walton area by any chance? Searched the board and didn't find any posts related to this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Call Destin Ice or Sexton's...probably your best shot.

Post what you got they quoted you if you don't mind. Heading up there next weekend, and bringing the boiler, but wanted to check prices before I had to ice them down and cart them down there. I'm guessing it's worth my time to get them here and bring them down, but just curious.

Called both places that were recommended to me earlier in the thread.
Only Destin Ice House of the two sells live sacks. He said $2.25/lb live was the price last week and they don't have a firm price yet for this week. (WTF?) Anyway, he said it will be very close to that. You do have to reserve a sack a couple of days in advance.
We thought of buying a sack here and driving one up of course, but it's not going to fit into our schedule, etc. so that's why I need to find a place there. I'll probably just go with this place.
Thanks again to the poster who provided the info.

Thanks. It might save about 50 bucks to get them down here for a couple of sacks, but it would save a little pain in the arse to just get them there. Might just get them down there. If you do get them bump this thread and let me know how they were. Size/freshness/final price etc...Thanks
