I think I know what the oil industry's problem is...

See, the issue is this: Instead of hiring engineers to do...you know...all the "engineering" necessary to conduct their business relative to drilling and producing oil, they CLEARLY should hire the folks who comment after articles on MSNBC and CNN.com.
They have some brilliant ideas for how to stop this leak, which clearly the engineers are too stupid to have thought of and dismissed within 8 seconds.
