Still plenty of time for LSU

Three games separates LSU from Ole Miss and Arkansas, with three series to go. There is plenty of time for LSU to make their move.

Tough to go from 3 games in front of Ole Miss to 3 behind in two short weeks. Hopefully, we can at least pull 2/3 from the remaining series.

True
but what makes you think we will suddenly flip the switch?

At Ole Miss and at Florida shaped up as most difficult part of schedule. I don't think anyone wanted the sweeps but LSU is still in good shape. LSU probably overachieved early in year. LSU can still be dangerous even though pitching is a real concern right now.
LSU will be at home for two more SEC series and will get some time to rest from grind with only 2 midweek games left.
Last year, all the changes and buttons pushed worked out, this year not so much. What LSU needs the most is some quality starts. Who that will be right now when you have no time to experiment anymore is what Maineri gets paid to do. If he figures it out, Watkins comes back, Mahtook moves down in lineup to help offense, LSU could be dangerous.
With lack of quality starters (pitchers), no way LSU can compete with Texas, West Coast arms, etc.

Do you mind if we borrow your pitching staff for the remainder of the regular season?
Hopefully Ranaudo and co. can fix this. We know they have it them to do so.
Seriously though, it'll take a lot for us to turn this thing around.
Doable, but honestly I think it may be damn near impossible.

I always like to stay positive and I agree with the thread or at least I hope your right but losing to UNO still has me confussed..I thought we should of washed them. especially after getting swept...but i'm optimistic that we can turn this thing around..might be tough against a very good vandy pitching staff. But till then let's just get SLU first and then worry about the next one! Geaux tigers
