SE Louisiana team was 1 win away from qualifying for the National tournament to be held in July. Just couldn't finish the deal. Teams have 12-13 players. The first game of the tournament they beat the Georgia team 28-6. They had 9 Georgia commits and 3 LSU commits. Then they Played the North Carolina team who was QBed by the Marquis kid that is ranked #3 in the nation. Next up was Alabama they had 8 Alabama commits. They got the best of them. Next up was one of two Tennessee teams not sure of the number of commits, they got the victory and a third place seeding after round 1. Next day they drew a first round bye and had to replay the Georgia team. They came out a little flat and maybe a bit over confident. Overall it was fun and just amazing to see so much athleticism in one building. Oustanding perfomers were Odell Beckham Jr., Louisiana-Stevie Douglas,Louisiana-Cartel Murray,Louisiana-Ameer Abdullah,Alabama,Kevin Cox,Louisiana.

With Beckam, you get a prospect that could play wide receiver, cornerback and safety, all at a high level - and he did just that on Saturday and Sunday. He is a springy athlete with good explosiveness. Defensively he plays low, covers a lot of ground, has great hips and he is so instinctive in reading routes and quarterbacks. Offensively, Beckham showed great ball skills and the ability to really do some damage after the catch.

Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing nearly 190 pounds, he already has the prototype quarterback size and the kind of rifle arm colleges seek.Douglas showed in the tourney that he is among the elite; throws a good deep ball and has very good accuracy. Stevie finished with 14 touchdowns.

Murray has the ability to make the big play on defense or offense. Offensive stand point Murray caught everything no matter if he was open or in traffic and was able get seperation on deep routes. On the defensive side he broke on balls and cover ground fast. Cartel rapped up his weekend with 12 catches,4 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.

Ameer Abdullah is a do it all kind of guy on offense. He has exceptional agility and made several people miss. All tho he didn't get the ball as much was a huge factor and kept defenders on there heels.

Kevin Cox was the sleeper in the bunch. Has very good speed and size for a LB. Made timely plays that help win games. Cox was able to defend recievers that was much faster than him. Expect Cox to move up to safety on the next level.

I like the intentions but not all of your facts. I have people who were there that work for major scouting services that can debunk half of this statement. Some is true and some is false, were you there?

The Mississippi Team won this if I am not mistaken.

Led by WR Dontae Moncrief (Ole Miss, MSU, USM offers) WR Tobias Singleton (Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, MSU, and USCw offers) Chief Brown (MSU offer who had 11 TDS) and DB Jermaine Whitehead (MSU commit)

They were led by QB Chandler Rodgers a 6'3" 190lb kid who plays private school ball in MS, but is trying to go to these tournaments and camps to get his name out.

Would love to see him sign with Alabama, but I'm afraid we're done at WR for the 2011 class.

He might be a part of the 2011 class. He just doesn't have an offer yet. If he's really 6-5 205, I want him at Alabama. Still, we've signed a ton of WRs the last two years.

That may actually hurt Bama's 2011 class in recruiting WR's and the fact they already have 2 committed already doesnt help much either.

Could be wrong but I think Bama has verbals from 3 WRs at this point.

Bama has Shinn,Woodson and Collins commited.I've heard Funderburke(Sims teammate) is a lock if he gets a firm, commitable offer. They want Singleton.Hear they will take 1 more maybe 2 if it's the right guy.Brassell is the other top guy on the list for them. We(LSU) want him at cb from everything I've heard.

Bama also wants Brassell as a WR. State and Ole Miss are offering him as a WR

At one point the team that was there from louisiana had Jarvis Landry,Alonzo Lewis,Daniel Taylor and Jeremey Hill they went and joined another team headed by the same guy who caused the dismantlement of that team. Then we picked up brassell, whitehead and singleton and then they joined the mississippi team last wednesday. I know "if" is a big word but "if" we had our orginal roster we win good luck stopping us:

QB:Zach Oliver/Stevie Douglas
RB:Ameer Abdullah/Jeremy Hill/Daniel Taylor
WR:Jarvis Landry/Alonzo Lewis/Odell Beckham/Ryan Byrd and Jermaine Sams

CB:Daren Kitchen/Jermaine Whitehead/Denzil Warner
LB:Jeremy Hill/Jamon Coleman
S:Odell Beckham/Ryan Byrd/Matt Bailey/Corey Trim

Jermaine was on our team at the start then we picked up tobias and nikolas once we lost jarvis and zo then a mississippi team formed and they joined it. Zach was but had a family event this past weekend.

Why was Jermaine on the Louisiana team to begin with? He lives in Mississippi.
