re: Is Billy Cannon the original Freak athlete in LSU History?

I don't know that 40's were run as commonly back then, but if I recall correctly, Cannon ran the 100 yard dash in something like 9.4. That was and really still is VERY fast. I would be very suprised if Cannon did not clock a 40 in the 4.4's or 4.3's given his track accomplishments.
