Tebow has to become an All Pro QB, or a Super Bowl winning QB to justify the massive "reach" job that the Bronco's had. Otherwise he is a failure.

Is this the case with every first round pick? Or just the ones you don't like?

they gave up a bit to get him... but if he's a solid starter for 10 years in the NFL it's not too much

But Lester isn't stupid to raise the question of how good you have to be to justify giving up a lot... even tho Ricky Williams was great for a little while the Saints gave up way too much to get him

i like Tebow

i just don't like the pick or the fact they traded up to get a position that wasn't really needed and picked Tebow of all people.

This is a team that lost 8 of its last 10 games.

and Orton had a good season. 21 TDs 12 INT. His QB rating was a respectable 86%

a team that historically is a great running team, who couldnt run the ball last year

esp when Clausen and McCoy still on the board

it almost seems like a publicity stunt. I cant wrap my finger around it.

and you ask why the high expectations?? like i said, they have 2 QBs, one who they traded for this offseason. They are sending the message that they think Tebow is the guy who can lead their team and not these other guys. They even traded up for him.

he has a lot on his shoulders. Just about anyone who knows football thinks he isnt suitable to be a great NFL QB. Except the Bronco's. Which is exactly why he needs to justify his draft position or its a massive failure
