I said you can not compare Rivers situation to this one.
San Diego was forced to trade Eli, and in return got Rivers and future draft pics, which happened to be pro bowlers Shawn Merrimen and Nate Kaeding.
Denver traded down several times and were able to get to picks in the first round. My problem has to do with the value of Tim Tebow. I do not think he is worth A)the 25th pic in the draft and B) an additional 2nd,3rd and 4th round draft pick.

You can say that all you want but when you had another team working on jumping back in to snag him, Denver had to what they had to do in order to get him. His value isn't worth it but you had multiple NFL teams trying to do this... obviously Tebow's value was there in the late 1st.
