Too many mouths on the set. Technical issues. Microphones open when they aren't supposed to be. Tom Jackson having the absolute red-arse that his Broncos picked Tebow.

The chemistry with the 12 people on the set just isn't good. ESPN is over-killing this thing. Young and Jackson don't need to be there.

I haven't been watching on ESPN, but the NFL network has had the best draft I've ever seen.

It just isn't like ESPN to get their arse kicked, but apparently NFL Network is doing just that.

Only obvious to those of us watching, apparently the four-letter just turns a blind eye to it, otherwise they would have fixed it. But then again, they dont care because there's no significant alternative for ratings and they probably negotiated a certain amount of airtime into everyones contracts, viewer be damned.

I just wonder what contractual clusterfrick allowed both networks to do the draft live.

ESPN having the original contract and the NFL owning their own deep-cable network. ESPN doesnt see them as a viable threat right now, because they're still in about less than 10% households across the country, so they let it go without putting up a fuss in order to get all the other perks involved with covering NFL shite (ratings bonanzas)

Yeah he looked fricking pissed. He was about to say something, then Steve Young pretty much interrupted him and went on a rant, then Berman said they were out of time.

That was the story of most of the night. And with the Broncos taking Tebow, Jackson was already not having a good night.

i dont have nfl network so i watched the draft on espn live.. however i just went online and re-watched the draft on nfl.com.. and wow what a tremendous difference.. it's night and day.. they literally make espn's guys look like amateurs.

nfl network runs the draft the right way. i loved the post interviews.. and the whole approach they take prior without giving away the pick.
