PS3 Question: Which one should I get?

I'm hoping to get a PS3 soon. I was originally going to get a 120 GB Slim, but do I really need all that space? I had a 10 GB hard drive on my 360 before it bit it and I hadn't even filled the thing up yet.
I don't put music on it and I don't do Netflix. Could I get away with getting just the 40 GB one and save some cash for more games or flowers for the missus?

Good to know...I don't play a wide range of games, either. Just baseball, maybe golf, and the occasional FPS.

Damn...nobody sells these smaller hard drive models anymore except GameStop. They have refurbs of 40 GB and 80 GB. The 40 GB is $230. The Slim is $300.

yeah the 120 is the smaller one nowadays
get a slim if you can, i'd much rather have a slim than a big one

That's nice of you Croacka, but the majority of how I'm going to pay for this is in GameStop credit.

I would get the 40GB since you don't feel you would need a lot of storage. If later on down the road, you could just switch out your hard drive for more storage. It's pretty easy to do.

My main concern is that the only 40 GB's I see are refurbs from GameStop. What if I drop $230 bones on it and it bites it?
