IF LES MILES WERE TO LEAVE LSU ...

... this guy would be my top choice as a replacement.
(FIXED IT)
After watching Gruden's QB camp, I have a "want" for this guy to lead the Tigers, should "The Hat" leave. Gruden is young, has high football IQ, star power, and would kill it on the recruiting trail (especially with his NFL background), and most importantly he knows what it takes to "develop" players for the next level.
Check out his QB breakdowns
Bradford
Clausen
McCoy
Tebow

i would love john gruden at lsu, but only after les decides to leave.
can't run off a guy that wins ten a year.

I believe Gruden would be an upgrade but his hire is unlikely.
I think DelRio is a more realistic candidate and would be more long term at LSU

I'm surprised this thread isn't whacked yet.

Is there anyone at LSU we can really trust to make a better hire?

i dont know if it would work. hes a complex offensive minded coach like charlie weis (and gary crowton for that matter).
they get so complicated that their offenses only work with veteran college teams (LSU 2007 and ND 2006) or NFL teams.
whe weis was breaking in young players, offense was abysmal - lost his job. same with crowton and his two young QBs in JL and JJ.
