Hodge Podge?

Are you kidding?

Chavis, who was one of the top DC in the country for >15 years and was offered $800 per year by UGA a few months ago is hodge-podge?

Wilson, one of the best HS coaches in LA before going to UT AND a known PHENOM recruiter is hodge-podge?

Billy Gonzales, thought to be the heir apparent OC at Florida was hodge-podge?

At the time Crowton was considered an offensive genius, he hasn’t met expectations and the Co-DC thing didn’t work out but then got fixed immediately.

Other than that Miles has a phenomenal hiring/mentoring record for assistants.

The perspective on the RANT is a bona-fide trip!

Wasn't LSU in the NC talk going into the Bama game in 2009?

So what is the identity that Les gives to our team? For my part, I'm not sure but everyone knows what Patterson is about at TCU, Saban, Meyer, etc.

What I mean by hodge-podge is a jumbled mixture. Whether Chavis is "one of the top DC's in the country for >15 years" or not is subject to debate.

But my point is does Chavis fit into Les's overarching vision? Consider the differences between Peilini (pressure) and Chavis (bend-don't break). Those are two different approaches to D and yet Les hired them both.
