Sure, his thoughts were hypocrital in some measure, but the kid was just trying to find his way in this crazy world. Hell, I would put some of you jackasses on the other end of the spectrum but I wish you no ill will.......some of you guys have non-independent ways of thinking just like he did/does...

So, in your mind the ownus is on the American public to ignore his anti-American sentiment...rather than him to offer respect and appreciation for the country that provides every bit of his opportunity?
That's a backwards way of thinking, IMO.
