Why is Dickson not being looked at more for the NFL?

Does he lack the physical assets?

The guy was one of our best TE's ever.

Lack of a QB ruined his status.

Not really he had done enough in his career already to overcome one bad year last year. If he had the physical ability he'd get drafted.

Post the stats of 3 LSU TE's that had a better career than Dickson.

I'll save you the time. You cannot.

Not sure, but Billy Truax was one of the great TE's at LSU.

In my opinion, Nicky Savoie, Robert Royal, and David Lafleur may not have had better stats...but played a bigger impact than he did.

Very surprised at:

-lack of participation in Senior Bowl
-not getting invited to NFL Combine
-projected as an undrafted free agent

He might not have been the greatest ever, but no one can deny that he was good. I think a down senior year hurt his chances. You can attribute that to quarterback play, offensive play calling, whatever, but I think he still is a player that is overlooked and if he is drafted in, say, the 7th round, I think it could be a steal.

It's his size. He's only about 6'2" 240 lbs. He would have to be an H-back type in the NFL and he's probably too slow for that, he ran a 4.85 40.

one of the most over hyped players at LSU. People loved him, but the love never matched up to his production. If Lafell could put a numbers the las two years Dickson could've.

False. Jimmy Graham from Miami has played football one season had similar stats to Dickson and he's going to get drafted. Rob Gronkowski has zero stats from this year because he was hurt and he's going to get drafted around the 3rd rd.

Was not. Edwards, Lafleur, Royals were all better.

I think that teams are paying attention to him. I just saw that he has multiple personal workouts. Each team only gets about 20 of these workouts, so they must think he is worth taking a closer look at. Best of luck to him either way it goes!
