two different people made those lists.

the guy on the right picks two other safeties ahead of Chad, which is the common wisdom.

Chad Jones got poor advice, IMO. I think he is an undeveloped talent.

He basically did what he wanted, and his NFL stock, IMO, did not rise.

Somebody, in his orbit, filled his head with the idea of leaving early.

He'll find out soon enough.

In fact, I think he might have been a better MLB prospect.

if you are a college player with a chance to be drafted in the 1st 2 rounds, you leave this year. Why risk a possible NFL lockout and not getting paid?

The list on the left has Bradford as #26 and Clausen as #66
Ridiculous.
The list on the right seems to be pretty accurate as far as projections go.

This
Added to a fact that Chad has a son.
Chad Jones is going to get paid regardless.

They also have Lafell rated as the #2 overall receiver behind Dez Bryant

IMO he was the most overhyped and overated player in recent history at LSU. I never saw what the obsession was in him other than he gained popularity after the Bama game a few years ago and for being on the baseball team. He should have been a linebacker at LSU because he never looked great at safety.

he may be a little overhyped, but with all his intangibles he should have been better then what he was...the NFL projects that as if he were to put everything he has into it... dont think he did that at LSU....Plus the reason he came out was because of his children...

Most players have kids that you never hear about. You'd be surprised the large number of them with kids before they ever step on campus. I saw a study a while back that discussed the number of athletess with kids at LSU and it was sad.

Seems CJ also struggled with the "student" part of student athlete. Plus baby momma.
