I for one can't wait to see mingo in action... He will cause a lot of sacks rushed incompletions and rushed interceptions

I think it carries into the season. This will be fun to watch.

Would like him to have some bulk for the power rush, but the kid has the arms and speed to go a long way.

Also imagine what Peterson can do with a little pass rush... Being that we had no pass rush last season

He'll be a situational player, along with montogomery

I like our DE's with Edwards and agahayre starting, mingo and monty pass rushing, and adams and ferguson

Possibly

we'll see how he plays against the run...he'll definitely be able to rush the passer

Read where he's in the 230-240 lb. range, maybe add a little more but not too much to impact the speed rush.

I've said before that he doesn't need to be over used until he bulks up. 30ish snaps a game to so he never gets tired. Once he's tired and the OT's can get their mits on him his size will be a problem. This is just for next season.

The kid has over 4 months to focus on conditioning and adding quality weight. If he can put on 5-10 quality pounds before the season, watch out! Mingo at a legit 245 is good enough.

*Claiborne FWIW.. I can't imagine an SEC QB would be stupid enough to throw under pressure into coverage by arguably the best cornerback in the country.

I think Montgomery gets a lot of PT, but I'm hoping Mingo gets put in for the right situation and doesn't become our next R. Alem. Don't forget about Chancey Aghayere though.

guy is a playmaker. if mingo isnt in there at least ten times a game it's reason enough to cut ties with miles

He's just a really fast, rangy type DE..Of course he'll have trouble if he gets caught by an OT but if not im looking forward to seeing Mingo in many an opponents' backfields this year

he actually uses moves too. He doesn't just try to run around them every time like Alem did
