It is too early to tell if they are better or worse than Tennessee. We have only played two series. We definitly win, but we have a chance to sweep.

Offensively they could give LSU some problems.
Pitching wise, with Wiederhold at the helm, they are terrible.

I know in baseball you can never expect a sweep, but wouldn't anything less be a disappointment this weekend?

UGAs way down this yr. shite Auburn outscored them 43-6 a few weeks ago, n Athens nonetheless.

Their pitching is a lot worse. Tennessee has pretty solid pitching, but UGA's team ERA is like 8. They're not that bad at hitting but not that good.

We won 2 of the series last season. I think the game we lost was Ross's start- Saturday game probably.

I think we'll have the same result this season. No sweep, but a series win.

i agree we are not playing our best baseball but Georgia isn't a great team so 2 or 3 wins this weekend

Baseball is unpredictable sometimes. I am hoping for 2 out of three for LSU. I am not going to predict a sweep because Georgia might come out and swing the bats this weekend. The bulldogs have gotten slapped in the mouth the past two series, so I would think they are coming in with a sense of urgency and focus. If the Tigers can win two, then a sweep would be a bonus.

Why is this even an option. There is a better chance of Perno calling me up mid-week and inviting me to get the nod Friday night than us sweeping. This is Perno's worst team he's had. Our pitching is TERRIBLE. We actually played 3 pretty decent games last wknd (although it was against MSU) but only won 1, we honestly should've swept. Our hitting is inconsistent, but we've got some playmakers. And we have pitching talent too (although nothing like LSUs) but they just can't locate. I will be SHOCKED if we take 1 game.
