Boise State #1 in preseason football story

I am disgusted. Boise wont play ANYONE all year long. They have two bottom feeders from BCS conferences. I am so impressed.
They will get to rest any people they need to. If they are put into the BCS champ game, I will be rooting for the other team, even if it is that prissy sweater vest at the Ohio State. Please spare me Lord.

Ugh. I hate Boise State. I have NO problem with someone other than Bama being ranked #1 to start, but Boise State is just bullshite. I wish Florida had gotten to play them last year

With it all on the line, a Bama/UF/LSU or Ohio St./ Wisconsin or USC/ Oregon or Va Tech etc. (you get the picture) will wear Boise out like a drum. I honestly think they would be severely embarrassed. Last years Bama team would have beat them by 30+..

preseason polls are a stupid thing. If you're going to have preseason polls, you better make them very fluid in the first weeks, otherwise you are giving teams an undeserved leg up based on nothing.

BS. I think Boise deserves a BCS game if they go undefeated again, but come on.
They have two tough games all year.

Nothing. A bunch of teams that SEC teams would get laughed at for scheduling.
It's just not enough to warrant an invitation to the national title game.
On the flip side, maybe they should get the invite, so whichever dominant BCS team that goes can crush them and put this to bed once and for all.

Florida would have annihilated most teams in this past Sugar Bowl. All of those guys leaving realized that was their last game and they brought the hammer.

I love it.. The whole system needs to be changed anyway... Boise State pretty much returns everybody of importance, and they WILL make a run at the the National Championship... We already know that a team such as Boise State can compete (after rest) with other teams that are top-10 in recruiting every year.. I don't know why everybody is so dead set that they suck, because they don't.. I believe most people are scared of playing a team called Boise State and losing.. Man the frick up and play them if they suck so bad and don't deserve it.. The system is what it is and they're just trying to make their place.. If you want to say they might get "lucky", well then again man the frick up and beat them???!!!

If Boise wants to prove how awesome they are, they need to get on the phone and play away games @ Florida and @ Texas or something.
That would shut everyone up if they won those games.
But they keep demanding home and homes. They aren't in a position to demand anything.
The last time they travelled into SEC country, I believe that UGA utterly destroyed them.

I am nearly there, but I think SOS will hurt them or at least it should with the computers which are 1/3rd of the equation.
I think the formula is messed up. SOS should count more if you dont have a tourney.
Having to play several tough teams is a test in itself.

That was 5 years ago... Alot has changed within their program since then, not to mention UGA was at the top of their game... The fact remains BS has to fight to obtain games like the Oregon game this year.. Them beating Oregon the first game didn't help their cause..

and they have us at #23? I mean I didn't expect us to be top 10 but at least top 20.
