The Lady Tigers take on Duke in the second round of the NCAA tournament in Durham, NC. Should be a tough defensive ball game. Duke is the favorite but the Lady Tigers have a good chance of pulling the upset. Allison Hightower will have to be huge tonight. Here's some previews.........

Last year the men's team had to play two games in the state of North Carolina, with the 2nd being against UNC...this year it's the same for the women's team, they just get Duke instead (AT HOME)!

NCAA hated LSU before hating LSU was cool...

Duke is a little bit taller in the frontcourt than LSU. But, not like Tennesse. They're starting forwards are 6'1" and 6'4"............neither of which score more than ten points per game. We match up extremely well on the perimeter. LSU gives up around 52 ppg defensively, while Duke gives up around 55 ppg. Expect a tough, defensive battle. It's gonna be very difficult to beat them at home but, if we can keep it close to the end, perhaps they'll feel the pressure of being favored on their homecourt and crack. Either way, Allison Hightower will be the best player on the floor and will need to be at her best for us tonight.
Game comes on ESPN2 at 6 PM central time.

I'm getting the damn TN game. Can't find the Lady Tigers.

Never mind. Our game is coming on, now. Had me worried for a bit, there.

Stay tuned, they're going to switch to the LSU game as long as you're in Louisiana or North Carolina. If you're not in either of those states, you're going to get their "whiparound" coverage.......................which of course sucks.

Playing a little out of control.

Also the HD channel will be whiparound. To see lsu, have to be on standard def espn2.

I hope ESPN puts the LSU game on HD if the TN game is a big blowout. Hopefully LSU can keep in interesting.
