Last two years average attendance = a pitiful 16k
The U.S. doesn't give a shite about soccer; never has, never will.

Good news for US soccer and USMNT. bad news for landon. He was hoping to go back to everton for a bit longer

I agree, but I bet he will be back in Everton after the World Cup.
This is great news for the MLS and all young American soccer players aged 15 to 20.

Stop shitting up the soccer threads. What are you comparing the MLS to? NFL? College football? Of course, it isn't as popular. But look at the attendance numbers for other sports, and MLS is doing a decent job. Besides, there are soccer-specific stadiums for most teams now, and they are filling up pretty well. And despite ESPN's disregard for the sport, they are airing much more soccer. Why? Ratings.
Hell, the Sounders outdrew the Mariners.

What an ignorant statement. Try replacing the word "soccer" with "MLS" and then you may be on to something.

Actually I drove past the stadium and hour before the start and lots of traffic. I thought the gane was 7 30 and it was 630. Watched it on TV Looked great. I'll go this summer sometime.
My daughter lives 5 minutes away from the stadium
