Because Joe Dean was a cheap dumbass that thought LSU fans would be happy with a 6-5, 7-4 record every year.

Sadly, I think a lot of people (pumpers) on these boards would be happy with these records.
The SEC is a tough conference, after all.

before Dinardo we were winning 2 & 3 games a year, we were happy winning 7 games after that. And 9 & 10 like Dinardo did.
