It was surprisingly good...oysters were juicy and not dried out like some places I've been to. The bread loaf was very good...soft and fresh. Maybe there is hope for this place.

I love Bears
Shrimp poboy and roast beef poboy are to die for!
Haven't made it to the one in BR yet. Hope they are as good as the one in Mandeville!

For some reason, I guess being from N. MS, I always have to get seafood poboy's. Just never can make myself get roastbeef or something that I could get up here, I always end up getting oyster or shrimp, but I will have to try something else eventually I guess

I had the roast beef yesterday. It was very good. Thin shaved beef perfectly cooked. I found the gravy a bit thin. A better bread would have helped it hold up. Wife had the roast beef with ham (lunchmeat) and cheese (processed swiss). Fries were overcooked. Kids meal was overcooked chicken.
They have a winner with the beef. I'll be back.

Calling processed ham with processed swiss a ferdie is a sacrilege. First off, a ferdie with cheese is a ralphie, not a ferdie. Second, real baked ham is required as is real roast beef, not Mandas. Use real cheese also, please. Real bread???
Damn, BR is so full of cou rouge. Juat slap any old shite on the plate, they'll lap it up.

Correct. Mother's gets a lot of hate here, but the Ralph is one of NO's best po-boys.

The roast beef is real.
The rest was not good.
I didn't see a lot of poeple lapping anything up in there. They were pretty dead for a Saturday lunch.
