played in a spring training game against the Dodgers today.
Mitchell drove in the first White Sox run and added a single and run scored later in the game. Mitchell also showed off his speed by coming close to beating out a somewhat routine grounder to short in the first inning.

Where is he projected to start the year at? AA?

If he continues like his start here, he might be looking at AAA. How does the White Sox look in the outfield? I don't know if he would have a spot this year, but with some injuries and a nice minor league performance... well, might see him some in and pinch hit or come off the bench within 1 1/2 seasons.

He needs the time, probably in AA to start. He is still raw.

in saturday afternoon's game against the dodgers, mitchell had a pair of RBI doubles.
