have you ever played organized football???? i doubt it. there is a reason that bench press, squats and cleans are fundamentals for S&C. Do you even lift weights... none of those are "isloation lifts" they all take a strong core

You don't have to have organized football experience to understand that cleans are a better indicator for overall body strength and explosiveness than te bench press. I'm just saying that if you have to do just one exercise and you want the best translator to football strength, the Bench press is not it

yes, it Is an important exercise but it is not number 1

and yes, I do lift weights
