I was at the Orpheus parade and we made signs and all wore our LSU baseball jerseys. Unfortunately when the Mainieri came by he was looking down getting more beads, so we didn't get anything. I know the beads said LSU CWS 2009 Champions on them. Did anyone catch them and if you have more than one we would be willing to pay a little something for the bead.

Note: When wanting said beads, and bead thrower is reloading, it is a must that you run along side said float screaming continuously until you receive desired bead.

My daughter caught some and they were pretty cool. They also threw some pretty neat plush baseballs. Will check to see if we have extras ...

I loved seeing PM enjoy himself at mardi gras - what a class act.

Yeah I got off my ladder and ran down there but he kept looking at the other side...I don't think he's ever been in a parade b/c he would only have two beads in his hand at a time...lol.

Thanks N.O.!

I support the guy from NV's statement. If you really want a bead unleash your inner 7-10 year old and run along side

...and when he slips down, falls under the float and makes the 6 o'clock news, you'll say "what an idiot! He needs to act his age instead of acting like a 7-10 year old over some cheap-arse trinkets!"

For what it's worth, though, I agree. Just don't knock any actual 7-10 year olds down in the process.

yeah I caught one of the baseballs. They are stuffed and it says 2009 national champs around the tiger and the other side is his autographed stitched on it.

Is anybody willing to sell one. I live in BFE and couldn't obviously make it to any Mardi Gras parades. I would like to add to my LSU themed room.

......Caught one straight from Paul, was offered $40 for it by his mom, gave it to a 12 y.o. Tiger fan/family friend free of charge. The feeling was great. - No I do not have any more.

BTW son and I caught a ball together from Brees as well.

A good time was had by all.
