High Stakes Poker new season

HSP is back for another season starting Sunday ! It looks like it is going to be a 2 hour episode. Damn HSP just does it so much better than any other poker on TV

I have some friends who love watching the poker shows. They honestly think they can play now because of the shows and how they "think" they can play along, make the right calls etc while the show is going on. They think they can take this out into the real world of poker playing and make $. I laugh and tell them, you do realize one BIG reason you do so well while watching the shows is that YOU CAN SEE THE OTHER PLAYERS HANDS and the hand odds are calculated right there on the screen for you. It's a much different worls at a table.
