Neither of these moves is surprising. Torry Holt can't get any seperation anymore. Tra Thomas lost his starting job to Ebbon Britton last year. Holt should hang it up. Thomas will most likely find a job somewhere.

I think it is time for him to just give it up... I don't think any team would want him anymore anyways...

Dude should get into coaching immediately. One of the best route-runners in NFL history.

Mike Thomas is expected to take the starting job.

Mike Thomas

is a slot receiver.

If the Jaguars sign Brandon Marshall or snag Anquan Boldin and then draft a bigger back in the draft (someone like Dixon, Scott or hell even Gerhart), they'll have a better good offensive attack.

Wasn't suggesting Dillard would start, but he was bummed he wouldn't get 81.

You can't change 5'9".

Dude has a 44"+ vert though (ETA: I think he got 42.5 at the Combine) and great hands.

Did Isaac Bruce retire yet, or is he still with the 49ers?

He's done. He was basically a player/coach this year.

Was wondering if they would both sign with the Rams and retire, but then realized Holts #s were better than any WR the Rams had last season.

I think Torry Holt will end up at Carolina...he's talked about playing there before, hes from the Greensboro area, not too far from Charlotte

I doubt it. Holt= Muhammed at this point. Muhammed won't be back with the panthers.
