Drew Brees is not the director of a halfway house for wayward boys. He would be an awesome mentor for a kid that wants to be something other than an idiot.

Sure. Last round of the last day of the draft. And since the Saints will win the SB, with the last pick of the draft.

Lots of RP hate on this board. You people act like the kid was charged with double manslaughter.
The kid used a fake ID, some funny money, and made a racist joke in a restaurant.
He has also shown a lot of character by turning things around at J-State.
Saints have nothing to lose, and Brunnel can't be the backup forever. Take the kid with a late round pick, and see what happens. He couldnt ruin the Saints locker room if he wanted too, so at worst you have a 12th round pick fizzle out and at best you have the former #1 recruit in the nation reach his potential under a HOF QB.
