OK-here's another perspective (I know I'm wasting my time) but:

What if Ole Miss starts calling their stadium Death valley? You guys would be up in arms and making fun of them. That's all I'm saying. I'm sure this sounds weird to all the fans that have traditionally called themelves "nation" before the saints became good.

But you guys can keep going the route that obviously I'm a loser and not really a Saints fan and post another Manning thread.

"Jockimo fe na ne"?

What does that even mean???

That's so stupid, who would ever write a song about that? Why do people even sing it?

That's so dumb.

"Hey pocky way"?

Who ever heard of such a thing?

I think the Native Americans they stole that from think it sounds stupid coming from African Americans.

"Mardi Gras Mambo"???

Who ever Mambos on Mardi Gras? People down here don't even know how to do the mambo. Besides, they stole that from the Cubans. I bet the Cubans have a good laugh at anyone who would bring themselves to sing that stupid song.

This carnival I'm just going to stay home and eat some steak. These people celebrating 'Mardi Gras' don't even know what it's for anymore. Parades have nothing to do with preparing for Lent. It's so stupid.

In that case, I think it fits.

OK so lets play by YOUR rules. If we cant criticize you for not liking WhoDatNation, then stop criticizing those who DO like it and get the frick out of here. Why even bring it up? Stir any shite pots lately?

It didn't have to be "shite stirring" if people on here didn't go into a rage anytime someone posted something they didn't like and reply with emotional statements like "get the frick out of here".

Good one Mr I'm Cool Because I use a Photo of Two Girls Making Out.

Why are you on the board if you can't make an intelligent argument?

Obviously someone questioning the use of Who Dat nation just throws your whole world off.

Maybe you should go find some more cool pictures to make yourself feel like a man.

Come on now-what other posts on here are "pressing"?

Nothing pressing, but I can tell you that after working in Southern California for the last 15 years, the whodats have a loyal fan base there. I had to ship andouille sausage, crab meat and shrimp. I would strongly suggest that the nation is strong and reaches from coast to coast,

Heaven forbid someone on here have an original thought that's against the herd mentality.

Geez, I didn't even point out that all the "Breesus" stuff is even more ridiculous. I am happy the saints are in the SB (despite what you analysts assume about me) but I kind of liked it better when there weren't all these bandwagoners (sorry to use that term) to make the fanbase look silly.

Who Dat nation is alive and growing Babies born in Baton Rouge, Shreveport, New orleans hospitals are given Saints apparel to wear. Facebook fan sites that are Who Dat or New Orleans pages are growing faster than any of the other pages. The WHO DAT is worldwide and it cannot be stopped, your only hope is to contain them and everyone knows you cannot contain a card carrying WHO DAT! But it is official as this article points out:

United Staes has become the WHO DAT nation!!!

I thought you actually might be a little more intelligent. You don't seem to grasp sarcism when you see it.

Pay attention, for once, pay attention. It's not about
quote:

ME
it's about everyone that is a Saints fan. Not one of us represent ME we represent a NATION of Who Dats.

When you quit making this thread about ME the sarcism will stop.

As usual, people on here took my original post out of context. The word "nation" is in quotes. That is what I was referring to.
I am familiar with Who Dat and I remember the fanbase as being called Who Dats.
I am not questioning the loyalty or geographical significance of Saints fans, I am questioning the use of a fairly new term that was generally used more commonly by other teams (Red Sox, Raiders).
Instead, everyone just felt the need to reply with something nonsensical to try and show how cool they were and that they were part of the team lest they would have their fanhood also come into question.
