McShay said LSU's talent level has dropped over the last few years and its not the same as when Saban was here. (HELLO, WE SIGNED THE #1 CLASS LAST YEAR ACCORDING TO ESPN). Said we don't have elite players on offense anymore.

They also said that they spoke to recruits like Hunter and Davis and the recruits said they were VERY concerned that young players were not being played and WRs were not getting the ball. McShay then said Lafell should've been a first rounder but LSU didn't get him the ball so he'll be a third rounder. Then they also said coaching aspect is the problem.

seriously anyone from TD could go on that show and no more information than Todd McShay when it comes to LSU our defense will suck because we lose 7. Hey idiot we needed to lose those D-lineman. our secondary will be sick and sheppard will be back at LB.

Lafell would have had 15 or 20 more receptions this year if he held onto 75% of the passes he dropped.

Whats not true about what he said? The talent? How great is talent when they dont see the field? How great is talent when you cant coach them? He is judging the talent we had on the field and it wasnt that great.

ESPN must be dieing today with all the success we are having. #1 last year, at least #6 this year, and #1 next year.

We are really falling off.

So know we see exactly what the outside world thinks of Les Miles.
No P&G kool aid sunglasses.

It is what a majority of people outside of LSU think.

The only way to counter that perception is to kick some a-- this fall and not look like a clueless person on the sidelines

it was really ALL Mcshay. Luginbill was actually talking up the LSU class and talking about Ego etc. and McShay chimed in and said "lets be honest, LSU is on the decline" and then ranted. They have not said ONE negative thing about any other program yet bashed LSU for a good 3 minutes.

How can McShay say the talent level has dropped since Saban left when we signed the No. 1 class from ESPN last year and their 6th class this year. You may be right to blame coaching but you can't blame talent. Its not like we are outside the top 20 in recruiting classes. Now what he said about not playing the talented young players and recruits being concerned is true.

So, ESPN hires a coach to do a commercial about "recruiting talent" to ESPN who they think is a bad recruiter? That makes a lot of sense.

I think the bigger point is that ESPN would never say this about USC or Ohio State. Those two programs have suffered embarrasment on the field, and Ohio State is have a very mediocre signing class.
