I can understand it for a normal type of place, like Parrains or something.
This is a critical cuisine joint that specializes in unique preparations and 'homegrown' ingredients.
With all the crazy stuff on that menu, escargot (though my wife ordered it - and loved it) and charbroiled oysters are far from taking a risk. Of course the damn escargot are good. That's why I edited to say the Tarte is worth a shot, if you at all are even thinking about it. I would take a chance at a place like this, order something in the hopes you are going to be blown away.
I don't understand how someone could be blown away by escargot or charbroiled oysters, although they are obviously very good things to eat.
I didn't mean to single you out, it's just something I see on here regularly and don't understand. I'm apologize for acting the arse.

If you don't understand how someone could be blown away by escargot...you probably haven't eaten them in many places...including Paris. I have.
